“Face of Disaster” by Phaze One (M-Phazes and Emilio Rojas) - UNRELEASED

When we heard that one of our favourite producers M-Phazes (yeah we didn’t throw the ‘Australian’ condition in there on purpose chump) and underrated NYC spitter Emilio Rojas had teamed up for a full LP, we were pretty keen to cop a listen. As a matter of fact, we are still keen cause we aint heard the Phaze One album that these two buddies have cooked up at all yet cause we refuse to let Mark know where we live after we dissed his DJing abilities. However judging by what didn’t make the cut though, it is probably going to be the most dangerous team-up since Danny Glover and pre-crazy Mel Gibson were shooting motherfuckers in the face during the 90’s.

This track was a tentative intro to the Phaze One LP, but was scrapped. Oh yeah, Phazes went there with those classic drums! And Rojas wrecks shop whilst sounding like he isn’t even out of second gear. Shit is dope, but Phazes didn’t even have a damn name for the track! He said call it “Face of Disaster (promo leak)” or something. Call it whatever you want… I call it sick.

I might even chance hitting Phazes with my postal. A possible cricket bat to the face is worth risking if there is more heat like this on the full length.
